This policy applies to Delivery Note (sign delivery notes, add photos, email and manage documents).

2) Data we process

Depending on how you use the app:

  • Documents & delivery notes: PDFs and metadata (title, date, reference, customer…).
  • Signatures and photos attached to a delivery.
  • Contact details you enter (name, email, phone) to send documents.
  • Minimal technical data: app/OS version, local error logs for support.

Note: By default, your documents, signatures and photos are stored locally on the device. They are only shared with third parties when you choose to (e.g., emailing, export, or a cloud backup you select).

3) Purposes & legal bases (GDPR)

  • Service performance: creating/signing delivery notes, adding photos, generating/managing PDFs, emailing. (Art. 6 1 b GDPR)
  • Legitimate interests: app improvement, security and fraud prevention. (Art. 6 1 f GDPR)
  • Consent: when you enable optional features (e.g., sharing to third party services). (Art. 6 1 a GDPR)

4) Recipients & transfers

  • Email: sending occurs via the email client/configuration that you use; we do not access your sent content unless you share it with us for support.
  • Optional third party services: only if you enable them (e.g., cloud storage). Please review their policies.
  • No advertising use: we do not sell or rent your data.
  • Non EU transfers: may occur if you choose a non EU service; transfers rely on appropriate safeguards (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses provided by the vendor).

5) Retention

  • On device: until you delete the data or uninstall the app.
  • Support: any exchanged material (emails, screenshots) is kept as long as needed to handle the request, then deleted/anonymized.

6) Security

We apply technical and organizational measures (device OS encryption, optional app access protection, OS best practices). Security also depends on your usage (device access control, backups, passwords, etc.).

7) Your rights

You can exercise rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection. Contact us at freedeliverynote.com/contact. You may also lodge a complaint with your local authority (e.g., CNIL in France).

8) Children

The app is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data relating to minors.

9) Changes

We may update this policy. The current version will be available at the public URL you provide to the App Store. Material changes will be notified in app or on our website.
